I love touring wedding venues throughout Oregon and Washington! It's a great way for me to learn about a venue and like in this case, see changes or remodling they may have done since my last visit. And, I get to share new, historic, and remodeled venues with all of you! I'd love to re-introduce you to The Grand McMinnville in McMinnville, OR. During my recent visit there I took a tour with their venue manager and liaison, Jan.

The Remodel
The ballroom came under new management in early 2021. After taking over they were eager to start on a fun updated remodel to the ballroom. So far changes have included a new name. They used to be known as The McMinnville Grand Ballroom, and now they have been rebranded as The Grand McMinnville. They wanted people to know they were the perfect space for any event just by reading the name. The floors have been given new life, I can't believe how warm and lovely they look. The walls have been painted a light gray which really brightens up the room. The classic pillars have also been painted gray, which makes them less of a focus but while still keeping the historical look of it. Future changes include more updated signage, new light fixtures and more.

They also have a small room "Suite 9", that is a perfect for a getting ready room. It would also be great for a bridal shower, meeting room, or to use as a kids room during an event or wedding. Rent it with the ballroom or as a stand alone by itself.

This lovely venue it smack dab in the heart of downtown McMinnville. Downtown McMinnville has so much character, the street are a beautiful backdrop for wedding day portraits. There are cute shops, creative murals, fun signs and more.
